This simple tiny disk shaped ear studs have a lot of details: the organic pond shapes are formed by several thin silver layers. Using hammered thin wires created rich natural lines and textures. Each disk is made by hand and slightly different.

Design Story
The ‘Pond’ shape was originally inspired by the Kyoto Garden in a part of Holland Park, London which is Yuki’s local park now. That traditional Japanese garden area is very different from other parts of Holland Park. A big pond is surrounded by well trimmed trees, stones and lawns, but somehow the garden is harmonised with the Victorian English park and is a very popular area of the park. It was a wonderful experience to see different cultural background’s people all with a different sense of beauty enjoying and sharing the same garden.
